	January 26, 2004 Mr. Pierre Besuchet appointed as a Director of the Company
	Mr. Gary Cope, President of Orko Gold Corp. is pleased to announce that Mr. Pierre Besuchet, of Geneva, Switzerland, has been appointed as a Director of the Company. Mr. Besuchet is a well known investment banker with particular expertise in mining finance. Amongst other positions he holds in Europe, is a Director of Lion Mining Corporation Ltd. of London, England and is a Director of South Atlantic Ventures Ltd., Etruscan Resources Inc., OREX Ventures Inc. and Valkyries Petroleum Corp. all of Vancouver, British Columbia. Mr. Besuchet will lend his considerable expertise in assisting the Company in financing its exploration and development ventures. Mr. Besuchet replaces Mr. Shafiq Nazerali who has resigned as a Director of the Company.
